Let's be frank, 90% of the weathermans predictions are as useful as a concrete parachute, but on the odd occasion that they do get it right. A simple yet effective method to prepare your shoes for all weather conditions is to simply screw some screws into your soles. The metal screw heads provide amazing traction on a range of surfaces and it can cost you less than a £1. Careful to use SMALL screws so you DONT pierce the sole!

If you apply this method to every room you can save on heating costs while improving your optimum room temperature..

Most households have a can of WD40 somewhere. Get your can out and use it in this incredible life hack. By Spraying the WD40 on cars and door locks, you'll prevent a build up of ice and keep the lock moving freely and fluently during cold weather.
