The Metabo KS 18 LTX 57 BL 18V cordless brushless circular saw is built for cutting timber to size during first-fix carpentry, flooring installation and general building work. It's a useful choice for carpenters, joiners, roofers and kitchen installers who need to trim boards, cut sheet materials and size timber without relying on a mains power supply.
With a 165mm blade and a maximum cutting depth of 57mm, this saw handles many everyday timber cutting jobs. It can cut at angles up to 50°, making it suitable for bevel cuts on timber components and angled construction work. When used with a compatible guide rail, the maximum cutting depth is 52mm.
For fitting kitchens, laying floors or cutting boards on site, the aluminium base plate runs directly on compatible guide rails from Metabo and manufacturers including Bosch, Festool, Makita and Mafell. Pairing the saw with a Metabo KFS cross-cutting rail, available separately, allows fast, precise crosscuts.
The brushless motor is designed to deliver efficient cutting and steady work progress. A clearly visible cutting indicator helps follow marked lines, and the 0° setting can be readjusted for cutting accuracy. The fast blade brake helps improve safety by stopping the blade quickly, while the compact design and non-slip soft-grip handle support controlled handling.
Supplied in a metaBOX 340 case, this version includes an 18-tooth carbide saw blade, parallel guide and hexagonal wrench. It is powered by compatible 18V batteries from participating CAS (Cordless Alliance System) brands, including Metabo.
