DeWalt Multi-Voltage Green Cross Line Laser | 12V / 18V | Bare Unit
An essential tool to allow precision marking and levelling, this machine from DeWalt's XR platform gives you a pair of crisp lines, at 90 degrees to each other. The laser self-levels to ensure the lines are at 0 degrees and 90 degrees. When in storage the self-levelling pendulum can be locked in place, which helps to reduce the chances of damage to the optical components of the laser.
This laser gives a great range of 30 metres, which can be extended out to 50 metres with the addition of a detector, thanks to the full time pulse mode. The DCE088NG18 works with your existing batteries in the XR Lithium-ion platform, whether they be 12 Volt XR or 18 Volt XR. The battery carrier has been reoriented sideways with respect to the laser body, allowing even 5.0Ah batteries to fit comfortably in the laser.
This version of the tool is supplied without batteries or a charger to keep the cost lower for those who already own XR tools in 12 or 18 Volt, but it is supplied with a green laser target and wall bracket, and is packaged in a tough storage case that fits in with the T-Stak case system.
There are two switches on the battery holder that allow you to toggle the vertical or horizontal lines, and a battery level indicator that illuminates when the tool is switched on. For fine adjustments of the direction of the laser, there is a small dial that can be twisted giving you easy control.
