DeWalt's latest generation flagship combi drill kit has now been upgraded in this H2T version to include two incredible 5.0 Amp-hour PowerStack batteries. PowerStack batteries deliver more power to the tool thanks to the flat pouch cells that are incorporated in a way that lets you draw more current. As well as the extra power delivery from the PowerStack batteries, the DCD999 is also able to take Advantage of FlexVolt batteries to deliver more power.
The DCD999 has a three speed XRP gearbox that allows you to select higher speed, higher torque, or the perfect balance between the two. The chuck is a 13mm keyless type made from all metal components for a long working life. The super bright LED work light built into the base of the tool can operate in three different modes and has afterglow to make it much more useful.
Designed as a primary power tool for trades users in various different sectors, this is powerful enough to drill holes up to a massive 55mm diameter in wood. It can also drill 15mm holes in metal and easily bores a 13mm hole in concrete with the 38,250 bpm impact rate. On maximum speed, it rotates at 2,000 rpm, but in hammer mode it boosts up to 2,250 for faster drilling performance.
