DEWALT FlexVolt XR 54v Right Angle Diamond Core Drill | 1/2" Chuck | DCD470
This is one of the most powerful cordless drills on the market, with the 54V FlexVolt batteries to provide the huge power and runtime required. Due to the massive power of the tool, DEWALT developed an E-Clutch system in addition to the integral clutch. This system detects motion in the tool and decides if it needs to shut the tool down for safety. If this happens, an obvious red LED lights up to let you know. The advanced DCD470 has advanced materials such as magnesium manufacture gear casing to help reduce the weight of the tool while still being durable.
The DCD470 also features space for a Tool Connect Tag, which allows you to track and locate the tool with the companion app. The drill has a Quick-Shift Speed Selector switch to let you change the speed of the bit, with two speed ranges of 0-400 rpm and 0-1320 rpm. For ease of use the drill has a rounded bail handle for ergonomics and a low head profile for easier access in tighter spaces. This drill gives you the power of the cord with the freedom of cordless.
