The BM16 bench mortiser with sliding table saw is the perfect workshop tool for professional tradesmen or DIY enthusiasts that work with wood. Designed and manufactured by Record the mortiser introduces a whole new level of drilling accuracy whilst providing maximum performance and ease of use in industrial operations. The mortisers sliding table has been manufactured from finely ground cast iron and offers a smooth 4 point operation on a dovetail pivot facilitating ease of use. An innovative design incorporates fully adjustable slides and gib straps providing unrivalled accuracy while a heavy duty adjustable industrial metal clamp locks the working material securely in place ensuring no slippage and allowing for a variety of material sizes. The BM16 also features sideways and vertical movement stops which allow the depth and width of mortices to be set in order to achieve consistent results.
Also available are the Record Power R150-3CB set of three Mortise Chisel bits which are precision manufactured with extremely sharp cutting edges for extremely accurate work.
