  The Makita LS1018 has been designed with a large cutting capacity, allowing for accurate and demanding work to be performed on the job site. The Mitre Saw features double sliding rails with linear ball bearings on each rail, ensuring a perfectly smooth and accurate cut. The electronic power control maintains the blade at a constant speed under load ensuring safety and accuracy during work. Ideal for baseboard and crown molding installation, finish carpenters, cabinet and furniture markers, wood floor installers, decking fitters and also for general construction.

  I am a carpenter/joiner by trade. This is a really decent chop saw, cuts wider and thicker at any angle than I am ever likely to need it to and is quicker to set up for compound angles than our stationary crosscut saw in the workshop, its so good it almost makes that industrial machine obseleat. I paid £399.98 for mine and it was well worth it. Makita is a good name these days too with so many of the other top competitors falling behind in either price or build. Highly recommended tool and wont be found anywhare inside the UK any cheaper than Ray Grahams. free delivery and its quick.
